Winter seems to have arrived
Maybe it's a bit late but it's here. Full Blast. I write this from the comfort of my New York City studio. The furnace in Beach Lake , that blew up back in January, still has not been repaired. Oh well the wading would be tough now anyway. As if I'd be wading. It'll be prime Eagle watching for the next month. You can find them from Molly's down to Barryville on the delaware and all the way north to Hancock. There's a pretty good resident population but this time of year there's a lot of wintering birds. You see a lot of immature birds. There heads and tails haven't turned white. Look for them just downstream from openings in the ice-cover opens where they get a look at any bait-fish washed out of the lake. If you see Gulls and you'll likely also see an Eagle.
